Your adrenals are the glands that secrete your “fight-or-fight” hormones. Those two primary hormones are cortisol and adrenaline. Your body will readily release excesses of those hormones under times of stress, flooding the system with a profusion of biochemicals that can send your body and brain into a tailspin. It’s important to remember that “fight-or-flight” is not a bad thing, as long as you can come back to your “rest-and-digest”.
