5 Tips for Supporting Balanced Energy

As a Functional Nutrition Student/Coach we find that many people these days complain of decreased energy levels. Can you relate? It’s so common that the use of the phrase “adrenal fatigue” has become virtually synonymous with weathering the storms of everyday living. 🥱⁠

Your adrenals are the glands that secrete your “fight-or-fight” hormones. Those two primary hormones are cortisol and adrenaline. Your body will readily release excesses of those hormones under times of stress, flooding the system with a profusion of biochemicals that can send your body and brain into a tailspin.⁠ It’s important to remember that “fight-or-flight” is not a bad thing, as long as you can come back to your “rest-and-digest”.
