Benefits of Water

Your body is 75% water and 25% solid matter. Brain tissue is 85% water; blood is 82% water and the lungs are 90% water. Your body is like a sponge.

Visualize a stream, constantly flowing. Notice how the water is moving, pushing any obstructions out of the way. Now, think of a retention pond filled with stagnant water. Observe the debris, scum, algae and mold rising to the surface.

The more water you drink, the stronger the flow of your internal stream, making it difficult for harmful organisms and disease to take root in your body.

I’m sure you’ve heard that you can live an extended time without food, but not without water, which is why it’s an essential component for optimal health. Water plays a key role in nearly every bodily function- from regulating temperature, cushioning joints, mental clarity, digesting food, exercise performance, bringing oxygen to cells and removing waste.

Your daily main liquid should be water intake. Keep your body hydrated.
